Welcome to HigherGroundHair, a concept salon we created in Roanoke, Virginia. 

Our goal is to offer guests attentive service and warmly welcome you to a location that is modern, polished, and comfortable.  Our salon is not about us, it is always about our clients.

 We are highly trained in women’s and men’s haircuts, single-process color and grey coverage, highlights/lowlights, balayage and ombre, perms and keratin smoothing treatments, with a specialty in corrective color.

We have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. During that time, we have worked alongside some of the industry’s most talented, creative and inspired artists.  Some of our team has taught for Wella, L’Oreal, L’Anza, and Sassoon Academy across the country. We know the importance of continued education in a time when styles are changing at a rapid pace.  

We have assisted in branding several salons around the country and understand the value of maintaining consistent service standards to provide you an exceptional client experience.  

We do not endorse any one particular hair care line.  This allows us to educate ourselves in all of the newest products available and introduce the finest to our clientele.
